We are often asked about the difference between each kit we produce, hopefully we can clear up some of the confusion.

• "Tankslapper Tank Protectors:" This is a three piece kit consisting of one static cling tank piece and two static cling pieces for the knee wells on either side of your tank. These kits are typically $15.95.
  

• "3M Tank Protectors:" These kits consist of the same pre-cut pieces you'll find in a "Tankslapper Tank Protector," but these peices will cut from the 3M Eurathane film instead of the static cling. For a comparison between these two products please see our 3M Comparison page. These kits are $29.95 for all bikes.

• "Tankslapper Total Protection Kits:" These kits are a combination of both the Tankslapper and 3M film. They include the three pieces for your tank, like the kits above, but also contain an array of additional pieces which have been customized to completely protect your particular model. Diagrams of these kits have been included on the ordering page for your convenience. Total Protection Kits are typically $49.95.

• "Tank Top Kits:" These are specially designed pieces intended to protect the tanks of tank top bag users. Tank top bags, depending on the brand, have a tendency to slide during aggressive riding. The "Tank Top Kit" was created with aggressive riders in mind, they add a layer of protection between the top of the tank and the bottom of the bag without reducing the magnetism the two share. These kits are $14.95.

• "Saddle Bag Reflector Kits:"Sport Touring bikes are ridden at night more often than most, getting lost or having a tough time finding a place to stop when far from home is part of the down side of motorcycle travel. The key to reducing the danger of night travel is high visibility. Saddle bag reflector kits are made from a black 3M reflective film. They remain almost unnoticeable until they are needed (at night when you're being tail gated by that annoying teenager.) These kits are $19.95.

• "Headlight Protection Kit:" These kits contain adhesive 3M Eurethane vinyl which is 8 mil thick. These kits are intended to severely reduce the amount of pitting your lenses receive from rocks and other foreign objects. Furthermore, as long as you have the headlight kit installed you won't have to tape your headlights at a track day!
